‏Dr. Mazen Elbagir, Sudanese oud player and composer of music,he loved eastern music since childhood, especially the Oud. He studied music in Sudan since (2000 AD), then he traveled to study in World Music Institute in Abu Dhabi and graduated from Bait AlOud AlArabi with distinction degree. He is the first Sudanese Oud graduated from Bait Aloud (Abudhabi).

‏Now Mazen is considered to be one of the brightest oud players in Sudan.
‏After many years experience in oriental music,he created a musical band named ( Ishraq ), which is the first Sudanese band specialized in eastern music in Sudan.

‏He also presented several musical performances and participated in many local and international festivals.
‏He got number of discretionary and honorary awards, and emerged in several aspects, such as composing and music copyright.

‏He has many musical compositions of his own, and beside his special ability as oud (solist),

‏ He is an oud professor at Bait Aloud Alarabi in Abu Dhabi 2014-2020.
‏Mazen went to Sudan to establish Bait Aloud - Khartoum with the founder and chairman Naseer Shamma as a manager, and Oud professor of Bait Aloud Khartoum 2020-2022.

It is worth mentioning that Mazen worked on composing and writing the first comprehensive curriculum for Sudanese Oud music, as this curriculum is the first curriculum for teaching oud in Sudan.
